Case in point? One of the dreamiest senior sessions I’ve ever shot happened during the remnants of Hurricane Beryl. Yep, a literal tropical storm made its way up to Missouri and soaked us the entire time. And it was incredible.

We ran around in the rain, got completely drenched, and couldn’t stop laughing. The whole session felt spontaneous, cinematic, and honestly just magical. We said, “This is the best idea ever,” probably a hundred times and meant it every single time we said it.

Of course, not everyone wants a full-on rainy day session. I get that. But sometimes, embracing the weather makes for the most unique, real photos. Moody skies, soft light, wind in your hair... it adds a vibe that just can’t be planned.
